Are you looking for a flashlight that runs on batteries that aren’t impossible to find? Well maybe you should take a look at AA flashlights! With that being said this post is going to review the best AA flashlight that I have every used. I will do my best to give you an biased review, and my honest opinion on these pieces, this will help you pick the best AA flashlight!
As I’m sure you are aware, an AA flashlight is classified as a flashlight that is fully powered by AA batteries. This gives you quite a few advantages compared to other flashlights. These advantages include having a little more power than a AAA powered flashlight, this helps with visibility and with beam range. Along with this, because these flashlights use AA batteries they are typically smaller and a little more handheld than some flashlights that are powered by a rechargeable battery.
Because there are quite a few different variations of these flashlights, I have decided to do personal reviews on two of my favorites. I hope these help with your decision making process!
My Best AA Flashlight Reviews!
Thrunite Archer Version 2!
The Thrunite company has been around for the past twenty years, and they have really been a huge player in the rough and tough flashlight industry. I personally have owned both this Archer AA flashlight, and the past version, version one. This new and improved version comes with an updated AA led bulb, that has a life expectancy of about twenty years!
This is great because when you are in need of a tactical AA flashlight, you need something that is going to take a beating, and is going to be very reliable for you when you need it most! This great light, has the following specifications!
Weight: This light weighs a little over two ounces without batteries in it.
Dimensions: It is about 4.5 inches, and it has a 1 inch diameter.
Settings on High: 180 Lumens, and it can last around two hours.
Settings on Low: 20 lumens, and it lasts around 20 hours.
Zebra light is another company that has been around for quite some time. It’s another heavy duty tool, that I suggest for anyone who enjoys the outdoors! This flashlight is a little bit different than the past one, because this flashlight only uses one AA battery, while the previous uses two. Although this does provide it with a little bit less of power, it increases usability because it is so small and compact.
This flashlight has the following specifications:
Weight: Weighs about two ounces without batteries.
Dimensions: It is about 3.5 inches long, and has a 1 inch diameter.
Settings on High: 320 Lumens for a little under one hours.
Settings on Low: 1.1 Lumens for over 15 days!
Overall this little flashlight is definitely a workhorse, and it can save your life if you have it! I hope you enjoyed this post about AA battery flashlights.
